Hi, I’m Hannah Peard – a Certified, Mental Health & Wellbeing Coach with a passion for helping people navigate anxiety, regulate their nervous system, and move through life’s challenges. I believe that stress is an inevitable part of life, but with the right tools and support, you can handle it with compassion, resourcefulness, and resilience.

My approach

In my coaching sessions, I combine evidence-based techniques such as talk therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices, and nervous system education to support both the mind and body. My holistic approach ensures that clients feel safe and understood while learning practical tools to regulate their nervous system and create meaningful, lasting change. My journey

My journey with mental health began over a decade ago when I experienced anxiety and depression firsthand. I’ve tried different approaches, including psychology, coaching, NLP, EFT, kinesiology, breathwork, and sound healing. Yoga and meditation have also been integral parts of my life for more than ten years. Each of these modalities played a role in my healing journey, but the pivotal moment came when I discovered the power of understanding the nervous system, the mind-body connection, impacts of trauma and challenging my long-held beliefs.

Through this exploration, I found techniques to calm and ground myself in moments of anxiety and tools to activate and motivate myself when I needed them most. This lived experience ignited my passion for supporting others on their mental health journeys, offering them the insights and strategies that have been life-changing for me.

My background

With a background in HR, corporate operations, real estate, and hospitality, I bring a deep understanding of people and the pressures of different industries to my coaching practice. Having worked in high-pressure environments myself, I know how stress and burnout can impact both your professional and personal life.

This is why I also offer workplace coaching that helps teams manage stress, build emotional resilience, and foster a culture of mental wellness. I understand the needs for business owner’s, management & the team to have different levels of support depending on their specific needs.

A little about me

When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying life in the beautiful South West of Western Australia with my fiancé, toddler & dog. I love spending time at the beach, bush walks and going to the farmer’s markets. I find joy in yoga & pilates, reading, cooking & travelling. I also love my coffee in the morning, sharing a glass of wine with friends, and creating new recipes in the kitchen.

Thank you for being here, I hope that we can connect soon.

About coaching FAQ:

  • A guide, a listening ear, a cheerleader.

You’ll gain tools, clarity and a compassionate understanding of yourself to reduce stress, build emotional awareness, and enhance personal and professional wellbeing. You’ll get a safe space to explore thoughts & beliefs and learn how to feel safe in your body. All of this helps to create sustainable changes for a happier, healthier life.

  • A Mental Health & Wellbeing coach takes a whole-person approach, helping you balance mind, body, and emotions while fostering self-compassion and resilience to help you turn your intentions into reality. Compassion is a fundamental part as it fosters trust, to be heard and validated by acknowledging your experiences and being a safe space for you to express emotions. In sessions, you also learn ways to become more compassionate towards yourselves to reduce feelings of anxiety, guilt, shame & addiction and overcome a harsh inner critic.

  • Certified means I’ve completed a formal, recognised training course in coaching & trauma-informed practices, ensuring professional, evidence-based support. Trauma-informed care refers to therapy and education that understands and recognises the impact of trauma on individuals and aims to create a safe and empowering environment for healing. Not all coaches or therapists are trauma-informed, so it is important to seek out someone who has had the necessary training for safe, ethical and responsible space holding to prevent harm.

  • Using evidence-based practices and techniques ensures that the coaching methods are grounded in research and proven to be effective. These approaches are supported by science and tailored to real-world applications, giving you tools that are reliable and tested. It’s about providing the best & most ethical support to help you reach your goals.

  • Coaching and therapy serve different purposes and levels of medical support for the client. Clinical therapy, with a psychologist or psychiatrist for example, uses different treatments to diagnose and treat clinical mental heath disorders, complex traumas and psychological challenges. Coaching is designed to give clients guidance and support with goals, areas of their life, emotions, and nervous system regulation. This may be through a range of holistic techniques to develop new skills and resources. While coaching and therapy can complement each other, coaching is not a substitute for clinical therapy. If mental health concerns arise during coaching, clients may be referred to a licensed therapist for additional support.
